Do you offer free estimates?
Yes, every quote is free and no pressure. Text (208) 243-9562 with your year, make, model, and what you want done, and we'll walk you through your options and give you a straight price. Installs are by appointment.
How much does a car stereo installation cost?
It depends on your vehicle and the head unit you choose, but on average a wired CarPlay system runs around $700 and a wireless CarPlay system runs around $1,000, parts and labor included. Text us your year, make and model for a free quote.
How much does a subwoofer install cost?
Subwoofer systems vary a lot depending on the sub, amplifier, enclosure and vehicle, so every one is quoted individually. Text (208) 243-9562 for a free quote.
How much does dash cam installation cost?
$300 for a front and rear dash cam setup, with both cameras and hardwiring to the fuse box included.
How long does an install take?
Most stereo installs take 2 to 3 hours, subwoofer installs take 3 to 5 hours, and dash cams take 1 to 2 hours. We'll give you a timeline when you book.
What warranty do you offer?
Every install comes with a 1-year workmanship warranty, plus the manufacturer's warranty on the equipment.
Can I bring my own equipment?
We usually supply the equipment so we can stand behind the whole install, but we do install customer-supplied gear in some cases. Ask us and we'll let you know.
Where are you located?
We're based in Meridian, Idaho, and work by appointment. We serve Meridian, Boise, Eagle, Nampa, Kuna, Star, and Caldwell. Text (208) 243-9562 to schedule and we'll send you the details.
Which brands do you carry?
We carry Focal, JL Audio, Kicker, Alpine, Polk, NVX, JBL, Morel, Rockford Fosgate, and Sony. If you're after something specific, just ask.
Will a new stereo keep my factory features?
In almost every case, yes. We retain steering-wheel controls, backup cameras, and factory features wherever possible, and we test every install before it leaves the shop.
What vehicles do you work on?
Cars, trucks, SUVs, Jeeps, RVs, side-by-sides and boats. If you're not sure about your vehicle, text us and we'll check.
Do you install home audio?
Not yet. Home theater, whole-home audio and TV and sound bar installs are coming soon. Email Gene@208Audio.com to get notified when we launch.
