What’s included in a speaker install
- Speakers matched to your vehicle. Sizes and mounting depths that fit your doors and dash, from brands like Focal, JL Audio, Morel, Kicker, Polk and JBL.
- Proper mounting. Adapters and brackets where needed, so the speakers are sealed and don’t rattle.
- Tweeter placement. For component sets, tweeters placed where they sound best and look like they belong.
- Panels back on clean. Door panels and trim reinstalled with the clips and fit you started with.
- Tested and tuned. Every speaker checked for sound and polarity before you pick up.
Component vs. coaxial
Coaxial speakers are a big step up from factory speakers and drop into most factory locations. Component speakers split the tweeter from the woofer, which puts the sound up at ear level and gives better detail and stereo imaging. We’ll recommend the right option for your vehicle and budget.
Get more from your new speakers
Speakers sound their best with clean power and a solid mounting surface. Two common add-ons:
- An amplifier for more volume without distortion.
- Door sound deadening to cut rattles and tighten mid-bass. It’s most cost-effective while the door panels are already off.
